Humana Medicare Supplement Insurance Plans For 2018 By State
It is highly unlikely that if you are over the age of 65, thinking of enrolling in a Medicare supplement insurance plan, that you have not run across Humana at some point. Humana does a significant amount of marketing on an annual basis for all of their Medicare plans. In fact, during Medicare’s annual enrollment period (AEP) when millions of Medicare recipients enroll in Humana Medicare Advantage Plans, Humana marketing dominates TV, print and radio-based advertising. It’s quite remarkable.

We mention this because we do think that it ultimately means something significant, which is the following. Humana’s actions indicate to us, that they are committed to being a very large, if not the largest, provider of Medicare supplement and medicare advantage plans to individuals 65 and older within the United States.
While their Medicare Advantage products are quite popular, it’s Humana’s Medicare Supplement plans, or as they are most often referred to as, Humana Medigap plans, which have seen explosive growth within the last few years. Just like with all other Medigap plans, excluding just three states, MA, MN, and WI, the Medigap plan benefits are standardized. That said, depending on the state you live in, you may or may not have access to all of the Medigap plans that Humana offers, which is why we’re breaking all of them out in the chart below.

Before we break out all of the plans and availability by state here are all of the Humana Medigap Plans being offered in 2018.
